Accepting New Clients
60 minutes: $200
60 minute session: $130
A 48 hour notice is required for cancellation of any appointment. If this notification is not provided, you will be charged for a fee of $100 for the appointment. You will not be able to schedule another appointment until any outstanding balance is reconciled.
Payment for appointments will be collected at the time of service. You are required to keep a credit card on file for payment of services and any missed appointments without notice of cancellation.
I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you.
The Headway team will reach out with an email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You'll see your cost per session ahead of time and can check your benefits through the client portal.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy and counseling services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-320-231-3277.
Insurance and Superbills
I currently accept Carelon, Quest, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oxford, United Healthcare, Oscar, Anthem EAP, and Cigna.
I also accept private pay through credit cards, ACH, and most HSA/FSA.
Superbills are available upon request. You can give these to your insurance provider for reimbursement of services. I strongly recommend that you contact your insurance provider to determine your plan's out-of-network provider coverage prior to scheduling any counseling appointment if you intend to use Superbills.
How to Schedule an Appointment
The first step is to schedule a consultation. All you need is your name and an email address to get started!
At the end of the consultation, I'll send your information to Headway to get the ball rolling for therapy. Once you complete your Headway profile and the intake paperwork, you can schedule our first appointment.
Each time we meet for counseling, we will schedule your next appointment. Once you are established in counseling, you can explore having recurring appointments. I try to keep it simple and easy for you.
What to Expect During a Consultation
Consider this consultation as a meet-and-greet. Although I am excited to work with you, I cannot provide any treatment or clinical advise during this conversation. During the consultation, we will briefly discuss what interested you in counseling, how I can help, and what to expect from counseling. Most importantly, the consultation will assist us in determining if we are good match for counseling. If it is decided that we are not a good match, I can refer you to other therapists and agencies that may be better suited to meet your needs.
When you book a consultation, you will be sent a confirmation email with details on how to meet for the appointment, cancel, and reschedule. At the time of the consultation, you can join the appointment virtually or by phone. Yes!- it really is that easy.
